hello i have a 16"maybe bigger Clarius hes normally really healthy and eats everything,
but lately hes been picking up the food and then spitting it back out, even his favorite white bate fish?

the tank has been tested and all is fine but the ph is really low and we have been treating this.

all other catfish(plecs) are alright and all eating well.

What was the exact results from the tests, and how are you treating the pH?

Usually, eating problems in otherwise healthy fish is caused by bad water. Clarias [batrachus?] are quite hardy fish, so I don't really know what could be wrong.

Beware that ammonia/nitrite levels may spike after feeding - that usually means that you need more biological filtration. If you have a big tank with several large catfish, then that could well be a problem.

Of course, this doesn't mean that there are "no other causes" - there could be any number of others, but per usual "medical" procedure, it's best to rule out the common causes before treating the rare cause...
