Can't seem to locate anything similar in the catalog. Hoping someone here might have an idea....thanks in advance for your help.

Thank you, yes I would have to agree totally, seems he is a she by the description. This little thing is very shy and likes shrimp pellets over shinking algae wafers. This third photo looks identical to what I have.
Thank you again...doubt I'll ever find a matching male.

I have what I believe is a male (odontodes are prominent)and he is quite shy also. It's a shame because he's really quite a beautiful specimen. He "creeps" out when I drop in the shrimp pellets for my cories and snatches them. That's really the only time I see him.

Hmmm...yeah I wish she would come out more. Too bad we live so far away, I'd try to buy him from you so I could try breeding them. Such is life. Going to keep my eyes open locally for a male though.
This odontal growth is actually on the body of the fish behind the pectoral fins correct? I'd like to make sure I'm sexing this one properly.
