Hypancistrus Identification time!!!!!

Hello every
We would like to test your Hypancistrus identification skills, i will give you a clue!!! they come from the same River and are all the same L-number... We will be putting up seven for auction this week on aquabid.... so look out for them!!!!!! Click on the link below...

which River ?
its looks like this one
you call them L236 oder L173 or L287 i call them just L400
or Hypancistrus sp. "Santarem"
i will give you a clue!!!
your L287 at Aquabid and your Homepage are NOT L287

I think they are not alike to the one you attached...
Those are pretty much 236s...
Anyway, they are beautiful!!!

every time the same thing . A picture of a beautiful Catfish==> and 2 user calls loud "its L236 its L236"

Um....I m not sure they are all 236 or not...but there's one at least which looks very close to it.
Head shape, eyes, colouration, and pattern....so at least one I think it's 236.

I am relatively confident that these fish were caught en masse, so it is highly unlikely that one would be L-236 and the others not. However, importing of L-236 is pretty much at a standstill, due to native activities, so I highly doubt that these fish are in fact 236.
