In my tank are 3 emeraly green corys, 1 spotted cory, 1 bumblebee catfish, 2 pictus catfish, 1 jack dempsey cichlid and (now)3 silver hatchetfish. When I first got 3 of them, 2 jumped out and died. I have a lid and I cover any open areas but they seem to be disapearing. I have found a few dead ones out of the tank, but ever scince i've covered everything, I havent found any traces of and that jumped out. Could any of my fish eates them? I just havent seen them dead at all, I keep buying them and they keep disappearing, one by one.

IMO it's a tie between the Bumblebee and the Jack; who's catching most hatchetfish......

Hatchet fish are known to jump as far as a few feet when there are predators below. That might explain your earlier losses.

yeah I know that some of them have jumped out. I really don't think the bumblebee catfish could eat them because its only an inch long.
