A non-laser striped aeneus?

I have seen these at several of the LFS being sold as common aeneus at $3 a fish. The closest I have found in Fuller's latest book is on page 53 and labeled: "Corydoras aeneus, aquarium specimen, 'Corydoras schultzei'"
In addition to the stripe, several of them have a green metallic hue in the dorsal.
Is this just a variation of the more commonly colored aeneus?
