Post by skunkcorydoras87 »

I am very interested to own one of these in a 55 gallon, is there anybody that has had any experience raising these and if so where can I get one? I could use alot of help in tank parameters and such.

Banjos are easy to get and keep, although rarely capive bred. I keep one small one with each breeding pair of discus to clean up left over food.

Have a look at the information given on most of them in the cat-e-log under

‘Is it common?’
“It’s not unusual.” :YMTONGUE:

They are so layed back. You can pick one up and run him around like a hoover and it will be nonplussed and vacuum up the food you put his nose in it.
