This is probably a really common question so I appologize.
Whats a catfish that will live in a 100-125gal with an oscar? I don't want to get something that gets like 5 feet long but I don't want something that stays really small.
I guess I'm looking for something thats about 1'-1.5' long full grown.
Thanks!

Pseudopimelodus bufonius? Pimelodus blochi?

or maybe Orinocodoras eigenmanni or another mediumsized Doradid?

ofcourse there are plenty mediumsized Plecs that fit the bill Parancistrus aurantiacus for example, or Pseudacanthicus spp.
robust fish with plenty spines to ward off any cichlid.

if your Oscar is mildmannered; Sorubim lima is a perfect match.

-Thank you for the reply.
-I personally like the Parancistrus aurantiacus but my husband is looking for something more natural looking, we will probably end up with something similar to blochi.
-I like the lima also but I would need to find one that was already about 5-8 inches long.
-I prefer the catfish that look...not pleco-like, more like a red tail but on a much smaller scale.
-I'll look through the catalog and name some fish I like and then y'all can tell me if they are appropriate! :)
Thanks! I'm new to catfish but I really think they are cool.

There were the only two from the A's and B's I really liked.
