hi. is baryancistrus l 177 mostly nocturnal? i only see my l 177 active when is beginning to become dark outside.(really active

Yes. Almost all Loricariidae are nocturnal, some more than others.
You can make it feel more at home by having more hiding places (it's more likely to be "out" if it's got somewhere nearby to hide under), and also by reducing the brightness of the light, for example by floating plants...
