First post
I found some unknown Synodontis in a local store and I bought a couple. Anybody has any idea what they are? I've been looking at all the Synodontis profiles but I couldn't find a perfect match, maybe Synodontis njassae?
Sorry, no pics, just a little blurry video:

My best guess would have to be S. Decorus...

It could be but the tail looks different.

These look almost like
, except with a much smaller adipose fin. It is likely that these are hybrids, sort of like the ones discussed in
this post.

Ok, no breeding then. I'm trying to decide if I'm going to take them back or not.
They look like these guys (a hybrid):

I guess they are staying... my wife likes them
I'll have to find a take for themselves.

Sadly, hybrid Synos have started showing up in LFSs in my area.

For a hybrid?
plenty very nice true Syno's to get for the hobby.
I just watched a very healthy trio of S schoutedeni in a LFS tank yesterday (1 M 2 F) and it immediately gripped my attention again.
unfortunately my riverine tank is way too overcrowded already and they don't belong in Riftttanks.
