L10a - Red Lizard Color Changes

Has anyone had any experiance of L10a (Red Lizard Whiptail) changing color from the usual orange / red to a dull chocolate brown ?

I had one for several years and it stayed red the whole time; so my suspicion that it was dyed was unfounded.

If yours has lost its colour you might try a colour-enhancing food; there are several varieties available.
STOP AND SEARCH TO BE REPLACED WITH GOOD, OLD-FASHIONED VIOLENCE

Mine are the same red and stay that way 24/7.

I feed tetra bits twice per week.
