Hi Everyone,
Are there different sizes of micrworms? My newborn Albino cory's starve to death when I feed them microworms. I have to use newly hatched brine shrimp. When they get about 3 weeks old they start eating microworms.
Thanks
Eric

Gidday Eric.
I can't help you with microworms, I can't find anywhere that sells them.
I feed my Cory fry liquid, or powdered food, usually the latter.
Have you tried grinding regular food with a Mortar and pestle?

Hi
I have only tried microworms and baby brine shrimp. the newborns do well on the baby brine but they will not eat the microworms until about the 3rd week after hatch.
Thanks

At a guess I would say that what you have is not micro worm, can you tell me how you are culturing them. I use micro worm all the time for new Cory fry, it is give to them as soon as they become free swimming, which is usually two days after hatching.

Hi Folks,
This is how I culture microworms. I use a disposable
perware like food container.
Fill the bottom with about 1/2 inch corn meal.
add water until pasty.
add 1/4 tsp of active yeast.
inoculat.
whn they start crawling up the side I scape them off and feed the fish.
Thanks

I was curious because there are very few Cory species that I know where the fry are not capable of eating micro worm.

Try photographing the microworms on a piece of glass, held at an angle.
