Am I going Cuckoo?

I just got this little guy from someone who is downsizing his Aquarium hobby.
It was sold to him a few weeks ago as a "Synodontis ocellatus".
I have my doubts, it's got way too many spots to be a Domino Syno (Synodontis notatus ocellatus).
It's spots are fairly large & mostly oblong, so it doesn't quite look like a Featherfin Syno (Synodontis eupterus).
There's no long trailer on the dorsal like a Clown Syno (Synodontis decorus).
I think it looks more like a Cuckoo cat (Synodontis multipunctatus). It's missing the black bars on the caudal fin that I see in the pics on the Cat-eLog page for them.

The other point that makes me wonder if it's a Cuckoo is it has spots on it's belly, rather than a white belly.

So people, what type of Synodontis is it?
