Hi folks,
My names Tom and I've just joined so thought I'd introduce myself.

I'm a 43 year old retired US Army "green beret" who also dabbles in natural resource studies. One thing that those studies have included is sampling and collection of organisms from various wetland and waterway sources. These were (still are) kept in aquariums for recording and study till transferred to the professor doing the research, and that in the past year has led to my keeping some aquariums for tropicals and other 'pet' fish.

Along with guppies, mollies ect (typical beginner fish) I've aquired several corys, and an Oto. To learn more about these addictive little fish, I followed a link from Aquaforums.com (they deserve a plug, they've been quite helpful) to here.

Off to look around now and learn a bit.
