White Spot Mystery Pleco

Post by O_o »

It was purchased as a snowball, Someone in another forum said the mouth was not one of a baryancsitrus. I'd like to find out what it is, Its not a vampire, I bought one the same size and its completely different. Please help!

Can you try to take a picture of the mouth so we can see what kind of teeths he/she has? It might be but I cant say for sure on these pics.

Even if we cant see the teeths...that are a typical Hypancistrus mouth so it seams you have a L201 Hypancistrus sp instead of a Baryancistrus species.

Yup, it's a Hypancistrus Inspector. The spot are rather large, so I am guessing that this must have been a juvie ...
