Hey there Mats, I had a question about your feeding article regarding this formula you gave us:
1. Grind your favourite fish food to bits. You can add any kind of fish food and even ground, dried vegetables.
2. Separate an egg white from the yolk.
3. Mix the egg white and fish food.
4. Paint the resulting mixture on a flat rock or driftwood.
5. Let it dry rock hard.
I was wondering, how much fish food should be ground up?

Mats,

If you answer this, let me know if you want the article edited to include new info. I can send you it for review if that helps.

Well, seeing as that was the ONLY part of the article that _I_ didn't write myself, I can't quite answer that.

I would probably experiment with it in the following way:
Take some of the egg-white (say half), and add just a little bit of ground up food. You should end up with something that is FAIRLY runny, a bit thicker than pan-cake mix.

If it's too thick, it will form too thick a layer on the rock/wood, and it will dry too slowly.

Sorry guys, that was a bit thick of me, I'd forgot I'd put that in myself! The answer is to use as much fish food as can get mixed in without anything remaining unbound by the egg white.
