Hello again thanks for your help replies the other day, im still concerned about my lima as today he seems to be bringing up mucus from his belly and then eating it again. hE IS ALSO YAWNING EXCESSIVELY, and shaking head violently, he dont look happy from the outside skin looks ok no problems there but he is also a bit lethargic when hes not shaking head etc. Ive read sumwhere that using a pippette squeezer containing vegatable oil squirted down the throat?? what do you pple think, is he gunna b ok u think??

wouldn't fancy the pipette method myself.
All the limas i've had have gone thru mucus shedding at some stage (my big one was doing it 5 mins ago!).
My original one did it nearly every other day and lived for 4 years before it died (when I was on hols and trusted a neighbour to feed it)
Although it looks distressing, I shouldn't worry too much at this stage. If your water parameters are ok, just keep an eye on him. P.S. its quite normal for them not to eat for a few days following a big feed.
