Plecostomus food ?

I am new to they rasing of pl*co's, and was woundering pl*co's eat vegetables and fruit?(and if what). Also I just bought a new pl*co today and they called it a "Asian Spot"
pl*co so he carged me an extra $3.00, Is this a rare breed?

All Loricariidae originate from South America (with a small number extending into Central America, since the fish don't actually care much about lines drawn on pieces of paper that we call geographic regions - if they can get there, they will, no matter what the lines on the paper says...) - so there's no such thing as an Asian Pleco - unless we're talking about a "Hong Kong pleco" - which isn't a pleco at all...

So, for advice on your pleco, unless it's a "Hong Kong" pleco, we'd need a photo to identify it.

Think it's a SailFin with pretty light orange spots. But not so sure, I am going to try and get a picture this after noon ok !!!!
