Did you know fantastic help is an anagram of Planet Catfish? This forum is for those of you with pictures of your catfish who are looking for help identifying them. There are many here to help and a firm ID is the first step towards keeping your catfish in the best conditions.
Hello! I purchased the below fish as a L11 thresher. I don't know if I'm looking at the right sp. here on planet catfish but here on PC the body is beige with dark spots whereas the below is kinda opposite but same body. Can you help? Thank you!
i have little knowledge on this i'm affraid. i did notice though that this guy has a pale, almost white belly where as the one Silurus linked to appears to have a dark belly.
i point this out only in the hope that it might help with the ID and not to contradict Silurus.
good luck with the ID
