Thanks guys, and yes the other fishie is a moth catfish. Anyone ever keep a maccuss with a flash pleco? My flash pleco and maccuss met up today in the tank and the maccuss got kicked out of the driftwood. Will a flash kill a maccus?

Maccus are rather shy and timid, I have 5 of them and they have had various L Number tank mates over the years with no problems. That's been my experience anyway.
Kind Regards

I would consider them sort of shy. my 5 had there own 10g, and they had driftwood, which they love. I also noticed they prefer pvc pipes over slate caves.

I wouldn't think that it's a problem, as long as you have sufficient hiding/eating places. Both are
Panaque species, and they need to chew a lot of wood to be happy. If you only have one piece of wood and the flash pleco is considering that on "its territory", it's possible that the Maccus being more timid will end up starving.
They also like Courgette(Zucchini), particularly the skin.

I have one similar to this, but it doesn't have the spots on the head. It has one of thin orange stripes right up the center of his face between the eyes. Do I have the same fish? I need to get pics of him....need more gallery space!
