Tough catfishes to share 55g with breeding Salvini cichlids

Currently, I have a 55g tank with an aggressive breeding pair of Salvini c*****ds. The tank is heavily decorated with artificial plants, rocks/caves and driftwood (plenty of dark hiding places). I would like to add a few tough catfishes to this tank that don't get too large and will be able to hold their own with the Salvinis. I really would like to add a Jaguar catfish (Liosomadoras oncinus) and a Vampire pl*co (L. galaxias). If not a Jaguar cat, then possibly a Synodontis schoutedeni or a Spotted Raphael.
Anyone see any problems with this arrangement or have any suggestions or experience with these particular fish?

Dont do it!! It nearly always ends with the catfish having missing eyes and torn fins. Keep the breeding Cichlids alone and if you still want catfish keep them in another tank.

Breeding salvinis are vicious and most catfish are going to get shreded.
