Hi,

I have read in a book that carrots make really good food for fish and they use to use it to bring out the colouring.

So i was just wondering if it would be alright for bristlenoses ?

Short answer: yes.

Carrots are rich in carotene, which would make your fish redder (but only if you feed them carotene-rich food more or less constantly).

I use little carrots sold as "baby carrots." Panaque spp. esp. love them.
