Bristlenose Pooing problem

Post by aussiefishfinder »

Hi, Can anyone tell me why my Normal, Peppermint and Albino Bristlenose catfish all have great long poos hanging from them?..My discus and other fish dont have it, only the catfish.
They get fed zuchinni, frozen blood worm and algae wafer pellets. It looks awful...am i missing something?? This has been going on for about a month now.
Please help
Thanks

At least partial veggie diet = longer intestines = longer poo. This is normal for most pleocs, be happy you've got healthy fish that are eating well (on a godo diet I see) and get the siphon hose out!
