Hi all, recently I have set up a 150g tank for my fellow loaches. And I bought some clown form my LFS and in a quantine period in one of my 20g cory tank. My problem comes with that some of these clown loaches have internal parasite which make them skinny. And I need to treat them either levamisole or metronidazole, I cant seem to get hold on levamisole as I cant seem to travel out town to feed store or farm to get them. So I have to stick with metron. I have this hole n head guard form jungle lab from last treatment on one of my sevy tank. This HITH medicine contain metronidazole, sodium chloride and acriflavine. I was wondering if I use these power to mix in the bloodwarm I use to feed my loaches and cory would the sodium chloride(salt) inside this medicine harm the cory and loaches. If no how much should I use to mix in the blood warm?

Thx for looking
Jack

How do you know they have internal parasites for sure? Did you microscopically examine the fecal matter of the fish to look for evidence of parasitic infections?

This is from my past experiance on clown loaches. Clown comes with internal parasite will looks skinny the bones on its back will show up with dark coloration. I have this kind of problem back in old day when I kept them. And they eventurally waste away even they were eating.
