Need Some Help *pics*

Hi i recently got some bristlenose plecs, they are about 2inches and a half. I saw her on the glass and thought she had a big belly took a picture in the dark with a flash and saw some orange and was wondering if these are eggs?

At that size + no bristles, I'd say it's a female, although I'm not sure whether the orange in the tummy would be eggs or just intestines and stuff. Hard to say from those photos. She certainly looks quite "large" around the tummy area. Throw in a male and you should know quite soon...

i do have a male in with hom he's got his little cave he sits in but i have only had them in the tank since friday and the females have been alot more active than the male and that picture was taken in the dark with a flash on. But i have been told if you shine a light on the belly if they are gravid you can usually see eggs!

This is exactly how my female looked in the week before she laid her eggs... And indeed, about a week before the spawning my females were very, very active...

I would say it looks like eggs. It will almost look like she is bleeding inside, the eggs are very orange and is shows through the skin. Hope they produce some fry for you soon. She will start to hang around his cave when she is ready to spawn
