Hello
for my Cory / Brochis-tank (450l / 100 gal) i'm looking for some mid (or upper ??? ) swimming corys .
Just orderd 20 C.hastatus.
Are there other species that dominatelay dwell in the middle/upper layer of the water column ?

Hi Joern,
I'm hoping to get half a dozen or so C. gaupore for just this reason...They're a bit bigger than the pygmies (I think C. pygmaeus would shoal with your C.hastatus).
I'm also on the look out for some Dianema sp. as they are also actively swim about off the substrate.
Cheers,
Ryan

joern,
C. guarore are really the only other Cory that prefers to occupy the upper levels but they are not that common in the UK, you may have better luck getting some in Germany.
RyanS,
My local wholesaler has 2 1/2" D. urostriata at the moment, if you are interested I could arrange something, e-mail me.

Thanks Ian,
But I'm having to put stocking on hold for a few weeks - a snail infestation has set my schedule back for the moment, and I want to get rid of them prior to stocking,
Thanks,
Ryan

I have 11 cory schwartz that almost always stay mid level in my tank. They are less expensive and look really good. Hope this helps.
