tankmates?

hi,
wonder if anyone has any good ideas of tankmates for my L200. the current is pretty strong, about 12 x volume (and might increase...) and the tank is planted - so fishes that could enjoy this current and dont eat my plants? the size of the tank is 85gallons.

Im pretty sure you would have success with Iridescent Sharks. I have one ID Shark that is 8inches and once I get my new tank I am going to being improving the current. They like to have plants around due to the fact they skitz out often and plants help calm them down. They are fairly easy to care for aswell as they will eat bottom feeder food aswell as floating food(I think they prefer the floating food as they get older.) I have been feeding my shark sinking shrimp pellets for the past 2 1/2yrs without having any issues. In fact this is the only food I have been feeding my fish for the past 2 1/2 yrs with the ocassional blood worm feeding(Which I am going to increase cause my fish go crazy for this.)
I also think that they would like the stronger current cause they are fast swimming and the current would probably help keep them calm.

Are you are looking for fish from the same area?
Are your water conditions aimed at the L200?
The most obvious thing is perhaps more L200, see if you can get a spawning. As has been discussed elsewhere recently, many of these nicer Loricariids don't need any other fish in the aquarium, they can "carry off" a display all on their own, and L200 is just such a fish. Social behaviour will be more diverse, and you may add something to the collective knowledge base about a species that is of interest to many people.

thx for replies.
the shark seems to grow a bit big... but its a nice looking fish.
i know that these lovely plecos can carry off a tank on their own,
but i thought it would be nice w something that caught the eye a little bit
higher up in the tank, and it makes the tank more accepted in the apartment...
it would be nice if these fishes were from the same area, but not a must.
and the water conditions shall be aimed at the L200.
there are two in the tank now, and ofcourse, i want to have some more
