catch newly hatched fry

How do you catch newly hatched fry from an albino pleco? (spawned in an upside down flower pot) I would like to move them to a different tank.

I use a siphon. It may seem a little violent, but never lost one due to this. A big tukey baster would also work.

Yep, have had guppies go through the siphon safe & sound. Much safer than trying to chase them with a net & potentially squishing them (have done that, too.
)!

Or you can just pick up the pot and put it in a pitcher of water and lift it out of the tank ;). If you want to put the male back into the tank, just lift and rinse til all the fry are in the pitcher, catch the male by hand put him back ;). Watch his opercular odontodes though!
