JOKE: A blonde's first football game...
A guy took his blonde girlfriend to her first football game. They had great seats right behind their team's bench. After the game, he asked her how she liked the experience.
"Oh, I really liked it," she replied, "especially the tight pants and all the big muscles, but I just couldn't understand why they were killing each other over 25 cents."
Dumbfounded, her date asked, "What do you mean?"
"Well, they flipped a coin, one team got it and then for the rest of the game, all they kept screaming was: 'Get the quarterback! Get the quarterback!' I'm like...Helloooooo? It's only 25 cents!!!!

A sheriff walks into a saloon and shouts, "Has anyone seen Brown Paper Jake?"
"What's he look like?" asks one cowboy.
"Well, he wears a brown paper hat, a brown paper waistcoat, a brown paper shirt, brown paper boots, brown
paper pants, and a brown paper jacket."
"So what's he wanted for?"
"Rustlin'."

I'm confused, there's no such thing as a quarterback in football. Defenders, Central Midfielders, Forwards, Wingers etc. etc. yes, but no position on a football field is called a quarterback.....BrownBullhead wrote:A guy took his blonde girlfriend to her first football game. Strange, since the sport you call 'soccer' is the ball playing by the feet (except for the goalie), and the sport where you can carry the ball wedged in an armpit you call 'football'Yup, we strange Americans do nearly everything our own way. We call your football "soccer."
but maybe "armpit-ball" didn't mouthe as easily, I guess

Sid,
I think you mean, sit well in the mouth.
Probably tastes bad as well.

That is really funny, Yann!!! If you could only see the serious television shows with the X's and O's here in the US. These shows have all kinds of fancy electronic equipment showing the breakdown of each play, what went right, what went wrong. There are shows for the college level and the professionals. In some areas of the US, there are shows for high school (teenagers) level kids.
Ironically, more children play "soccer" than American football.

Hi!
I was an exchange student in South Dakota back in 1993. I started to play Football(US type) there and played 6 years in France and Switzerland, so I know a bit and how things work..
Even if I don't have the possibility to see each game and especially those played by my Beloved Raiders, a bar show 2 games on Sunday night, so last week I watch the Bucs taking on the the 'phins and the Jets taking on the Bills!! certainly not the most wonderful game that could have been proposed!
I also can order DVD of each game for about 18$ both NFL and NCAAF...
Lately it is been hard to be a Raiders fan but feels great to see the fighting Irish back to a good level!!
Cheers

That'll be a UK user using his finest English humour, and this appears to have pass most by , I laughed, then read the above and laughed some moreBrownBullhead wrote:
The part about the UK user confusing "footy" with "US football" made me laugh, but not in a harsh way... just a giggle.
Anyone have anymore crap, old but funny jokes
