They are fairly young, and i cant wait to get hold of them.
But thinking of perhaps buying more roots and stones, so that they have more hiding spots.
But i can get that the same day as im getting those.

Anybody recommend these fishes?
I think they are pretty and i'm strongly considering to get more types of Catfishes, getting 10 Bushymouth catfish on saturday, but i'm thinking to reduce that number to 2-4.

Then later on get more types of catfishes.
Thanks to my tick-tack toe games, im earning plenty of money to provide for my fishhobby.

Anyway, what do you think of 2 clown plecos in a 85 gallon/320 liters tank?
Tank is 125x50x50cm.

Getting a new heater soon, the one i have now cant heat the water more then 23 Celcius. And if i remember correctly, catfishes likes high temps.

I've got a trio (1m/2f) of . They are nicely patterned fish [IMO], and they will be fine in the tank you've got as long as you haven't got too many other bottom-space fish in there. 2-4 Bristlenoses should be fine. I've got a slightly bigger tank (150 x 50 bottom area), and I've also got 5 , 2 and 2 in the same tank.

You should really soak the wood overnight (at least) in a tub of water before you place it in the tank. This will lessen the discolouration of the water in the tank.

As to the temperature, 23'C is the lower end of the scale for Panaque Maccus, but they should be fine at that temp. Likewise for Ancistrus sp(3). It's incorrect to lump all fish together saying "they prefer warmer water". There are some varieties that like cooler water, others like warm water, whilst most of the commonly kept species are happiest around 24-25'C. Of course, when talking to Jools, he said that the temperature differential between the bottom and the top of a river in the Amazon is BIG. At the surface, it may well be 28-30'C, but the bottom may well be several degrees lower, maybe around 22'C. The fish will quite often swim around from the bottom up the sides of the river to the top, and back down again.
