im a newbie here.
today i went to buy 6 corys.
3 bronze cory
and 3 albino bronze cory

and when i was about to feed them i notice that the freeze dry blood worms float... anyway to make them sink?

if you have a HoB filter try putting the bloodworms directly under the outlet my corys love darting in and taking the worms before they float back up

how come my bronze cory seem so lazy... always staying still while the albinos go crazy. the bloodworm advice was good thanx.

my aneus are lazy too they usually go nuts at night in the dark ...yet my palateus go crazy 24/7 always on the go

Buy frozen then you will have no worries. Once thawed they will go to the bottom.

Aeneus will swim up to the top and eat freeze-dried bloodworms upside down.
Mine do it all the time, and I thought they were the only ones but I have seen others on this forum post that theirs do it, too. I think Bronzefry has posted about this.

Frozen bloodworms are not that expensive, though, and Ocean Nutrition's product has added vitamins.
It's a better food than freeze-dried.

If you've just brought these Cories home, they shouldn't be fed for about 36 hours, plus or minus. They need to settle in. Please correct me if I'm wrong, anybody.

You may want to try this: wait for the lights to go out. Feed the Cories. If they're hungry, they'll eat. They find their way to the surface. Place the worms on the sides of the tank, where they can easily manage them. You'll hear a slurpy sound in the dark. I don't know if this is good or bad for them. I've switched mostly to frozen foods, which sink. But, if I want to just feed the Tetras, I use the freeze-dried foods and the Cories still find their way to it!

Bloodworms aren't the only food for Cories, either. A good variety of foods such as brine shrimp, daphnia and any variety of small worms make their world turn.
