Helogenes into Cetopsidae?

Post by Marc van Arc »

What was the reason that Helogenes (Helogenidae) was transferred into the family of Cetopsidae?
As far as I can see this could not have been done on behavioural grounds. HH, have you got any clue please?

The reference you need is:

de Pinna, MCC & RP Vari, 1995. Monophyly and phylogenetic diagnosis of the family Cetopsidae, with synonymization of the Helogenidae (Teleostei: Siluriformes). Smithsonian Contributions to Zoology 571: 1â??26.

Great, but how to obtain those papers?
Dave Rinaldo tipped me someone who is into aquatic books, but apperently he's been too busy for the past few weeks (month?). Are there other ways, via the net for example?
Thanks for replying.
