White but not albino bristlenose

Hey all, just new to the PC forums so hopefully I can send a bit of a curly one your collective way.
Please bear in mind that I am from Australia and when I say bristle nose (BN) I am refering to an Ancistrus sp but to which I am not sure, there is some confusion as to which species is/are in Australia at any one moment given the sometimes dubious methods by which they circumvent our tight customs regime.
I found the fish pictured below in a LFS (but already sold) and I wondered if anybody could tell me what it may be. At first I thought that it was an albino BN but on closer inspection it had black eyes, some internal black markings on the inside of the gut cavity and some small black spots on the skin (check photos). Is this actually a white BN or just some other species I am not aware of?
If it is a white BN, are they rare and how do they occur (genetically speaking)?
Cheers all,
