I'm pretty sure thats a L204, a couple side shots would better.

IMO opinion the head shape is wrong for L204, as is the patterning on the back half. Maybe L199. Could we please get a few more pictures, side on, the mouth shape and what not? What size is the fish? Something in the picture to use for scale would also help. Thanks!

I'll go L199 - Body shape and markings look like one.

Hi!

Definitively an Hypancistrus. I still hesitated between L199 and L129...another picture could eventually help ...

cheers

HOLY CRAP!

ever heard of the "resize" function?

such a wee little fish, and this isn't even overdone, it's beyond words; "over the top" is wayyy too small to describe this.

next time I gotta buy a 36" monitor with a 100.000x200.0000 resolution to watch the pics

Or, even better, crop it so that you only get the fish, not a whole lot of surrounding stuff. This is the same size as the previous shot, but with all the surrounding area around the fish cropped away:

Pleco 1 and the second picture seams to be the same fish and are L199, Pleco 2 looks like L129.
