orange spot plec?? whats thAt

hi im new here and was just wandering if anyone has any info on the so called orange spot plec i bought one from my lfs which is sedgley road aquarium and was just wanderin if it is actualy a real plec or is it a common pleco(i hope it isnt) i bought it for £2.20 which i think is pretty cheap for a pleco i will try and get some pics via bluetooth on my dads phone but i cant guarentee it any any suggestions on what it is would be extremley helpful thanks loads in advance thanks thanks thanks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!heeeeeeeelllllllppppppp

You could try
as per the info on the page that was linked to above.
Could you fix up the "location" to something that everyone in the world will recognise. I think I have a fair idea of where you're at, but someone in Singapore or the US may struggle a bit... This is a serious and global web-site, and there are several members from just about any part of the world, and it's hard to have precise knowledge of ALL parts of the world.

You could. You just have to have an outdoor pond that is constantly above 25'C, and you probably want more than one more...
At least, that's how the breeders in Singapore/Thailand/Taiwan/Florida/Australia are doing it. I've not heard of anyone breeding these fish in indoor aquaria. It's probably doable, but since they grow quite big, and like to dig their own tunnels, it's a bit awkward to find a tank that is big enough and have enough gravel/mud in there to breed them.
Much easier is the Ancistrus, Hypancistrus, Peckoltia and mini-Panaque species [and many others]. As they are under 20cm in total length, which makes it achievable in an ordinary tank.
