What is L-252? It is not in cat-e-log and pics of it is mostly unclear.
Scobinancistrus auratus is my favorite pleco ^_^

Its generic placement is currently unclear.

Is it related to L-82 or anything?

Thanks. The fish tilts its head and tail away from the camera so there is no clear view of the head, mouth and tail section... The link here:

shows the fish that is sorta like L-82 with less intense coloration and smaller spot, and make me think of Scobinancistrus. Do you think it is actually just variant of L-82?

I would say probably the same genus, but different species.
