Hello hello

Post by Matt »

Hi there. I've just signed up in the last couple of days and thought I'd say a word or two of introduction. I live in Maine in the US and keep only smaller catfish at present because I don't have the resources to fund any gigantic tanks, but I love my little guys all the same. I have a particular affinity for the smaller pygmy cories. I keep Corydoras habrosus and have kept C. pygmaeus, though never C. hastatus (but only because I've never seen them -- it's not exactly easy to get your hands on interesting stuff way up here). I also keep C. paleatus, various Otocinclus that I've not identified, and a pleco that I think is Panaque maccus.

Anyway, I've said far more than two words of introduction, so now I'm off to the other forums. :-D

All the best,
-- Matt

We have all 3 varieties of the little buggers! They are all very interestuing and have their own personality. I believe that if regular size cories are best in groups of 6 or more , these guys are best in groups of 8 or more...and they breed like rabbits!

Welcome to the site from the Great Lake State!

I'm toasting you with Ruination Pale Ale...it's very worthy of such an occasion!

Thanks,

Scott
