Scientific plurals?

Apologies if this has been asked before or is posted in the wrong forum; I couldn't find a more appropriate one. I have an interesting (read: probably stupid) question. Is there a plural for scientific names? Somehow I think no, but I've never known the answer to that. Is "<i>Corydoras habrosus</i>," for example, the plural as well as the singular? Terribly confused, and, yes, it does come up often in daily life, if you'd believe it.

All the best,

The singular and plural form should be the same.
