Im going to be moving my 2 syno multis to another tank in a couple days and I dont know how to catch them without a net. I know that they can get caught up in nets really easy.

You could use a plastic bag or a small bucket instead of a net.

You can use a plastic sieve. That makes it easier to sneak up on them because there's less water resistance

fine mesh nets are much better than the course ones.

a very good trick is to use pieces of PVC pipe; 4-8" lang, about 2" wide.

lay those pipes against the sides/front/back of the tank and remove the furniture. pretty soon the Syno's will hide in the pipes; you can close both ends with your hand, lift the pipes from the tank and empty them in a bucket.

nor the tail or the nose of a Syno is spiny, so it's a very safe trick of catching the.

works for most catfishes btw

A plastic sieve is a good idea. I use a large plastic spaghetti strainer.
