What type of snail are you talking about? I have kept red ramshorn snails with cory eggs. The snails eat te excess food once the fry start feeding.

I have both the red ramshorn and the malaysian trapdoor.
I was wondering about this because, with my panda corys, I find very few eggs, even though they spawn frequently. I think the pandas are eating some, but thought maybe the snails could also be culprits.

If by red ramshorn you guys mean colombian giant ramshorn, Marisa cornuarietis, then yes it'll eat eggs. And other snails. And any plants.
If you mean actual red ramshorn, Planorbis sp., then it's probably safe. It's however not that common in aquaria any more.
Regarding malaysian tower snails... I'm not sure. I personally think they do eat eggs, and try to keep them out of my breeding tanks, but I've seen pictures of how people have kept them with killi-eggs, and they only eat dead eggs.
