Kryptopterus bicirrhis tankmates

Post by catfishgrrl »

Hi.
I'm doing some house-keeping with a few extra tanks and I'd like the set up an Asian Biotope tank.
The tank in question is a 30 gallon long and the primary inhabitants would be my group of 6 Glass Cats.

Any suggestions on what other fish I could add to a this tank?

Thanks in adavance.
Steph

A shoal of one of the mid-sized rasboras would contrast nicely, along with a few Y. nigrolineata

Thanks.

I forgot about my clown loach.
I have one Y. nigrolineata, but I rarely see him anymore cause he hides in his cave. Maybe he needs a friend.
He along with a Horse-face loach and a group of Kuhlis will also be going to that tank.

How common are Black-lined loaches?

Coffee is better ;)

/me sips appreciatively

They are not as common as Yo-Yo's or clown loaches, but they turn up now and again... I just saw a tankful at a store last weekend.

Clown loaches are happier in groups... try to get at least 3 more.

You could also try danios instead of rasboras... some very pretty ones have been imported recently.
