This is interesting. I have seen a fair number of Pandas in LFSs in my area, which is unusual. I saw some last weekend in 2 different stores, one a chain, one a true LFS, each was selling them at the same price as Paleatus and Aeneus. I also saw them at a big online catalog. I know if I was looking for a first Corydora, I'd leap at a Panda. But, I've heard they aren't the easiest of the Cories. Anytime you type in a catfish species name in a search engine, guess which site comes up? Planet Catfish. Maybe a lot of people have been purchasing Pandas. Just a thought.
