Magnificant fish !

Post by Wonderfull-Creations »

I actually got to see a Blue Catfish similar in size (100lbs) live in an aquarium if you can believe that. While visiting San Diego, I got the chance to go to the Fish Show (where companies go and promote etc.), anyways 2-3 weeks prior to the show someone had caught this MONSTER Blue Cat in Lake San Vincente (a local San Diego Resevoir) and they decided to keep it alive so they could put it in an HUGE tank at the up and coming fish show. You talk about fascinating ! Unbelievable what this thing looked like. They kept it in their lure display aquarium with some bass and blue gill. The fish just stuck to the bottom of the tank. It looked like this fish had swallowed a bowling ball and it was too heavy in his gut for him to swim around. It just layed there on the bottom on it's HUGE stomach breathing...I'll never forget that..

The angler now has his own website, and will be selling a DVD video, with proceeds benefitting the DNR for fisheries management.
As well, Tim will be hosting discussions at HeartlandOutdoorsman.com for those interested in learning all about this magnificent fish.
