hemiloricaria sp.

Post by Oscar »

I buy this fish as loricaria sp. red L010a, but I think isn,t L010a, L010a doesn`t have black lines. Is around 3-4 cm.

Hi Oscar .

you already read the Cat-eLog Data Sheet for Hemiloricaria sp. (L010a)? Did you?

well I has a phrase like this:
This red colour form is considered to be artificial although it is unclear what species or methods were used in its production. Aqualog introduced this fish with an l-number of L010a, it is very different from L010.
So.. maybe this mysteri is now clear.. but I think that you have in your hands is the real color pattern. I guess

Regards.

The fish look a bit like "Hemiloricaria " lanceolata ...

Obviously the species is quite variable depending on the catching locality

Cheers
