Sexing Peckoltia sp. L205

I check the cat-elog about this peckoltia, and ...

Males develop small teeth-like odontodes which adorn the leading pectoral fin rays and the back half of the fishes body

I have one L205, I believe than female and I want to look for pair, but I have a doubt. Since his capture, for bad manipulation or transport, a male might to seem a female losing part of growth odontal in pectoral or caudal zone?

Pictures of the fish I think is a female.

Hi, Oscar.. yes the overview.. . is the ventral side..I mean.. the belly..

REally nice loricarid.. is it yours??? and I think that's a female.. because I don't guess that they lost its odontes during the travel..sounds terrible..

You dont need to show the genital area in these species, the differents are obvious in this type of Peckoltia.
The male dont just get spiny on the back half of the body...the upper hard ray in the caudal fin are much more thicker covered with long odontodes.
Your fish above is a female and the males caudal fins look like this:

Thanks Jane for picture, but, many loricarids lose for stress or/and dominance the interopercular and pectoral odontes , can they lose in the caudal similarly?
