Is this rare in trade? There is only single photo in cat-elog.That is from natural habitat. It has been commonly available in Finland.Very beautiful catfish indeed.

I believe there are several spp. that are fairly common in the trade. The biggest problem is that there are a dozen or so small pims with a dark lateral stripe. Telling them apart is not easy.

Hi!
Yes I have seen some preserved material at the MHNG really tough to distinct each species...
By the way anyone heard of a possible spawning account of one of these species!!!

I have these in my shop. 4 of them had 2 odd fish that silurus suggested may be Rhamdia sp. also arrive with them.
Sorry no breeding info but they dont like the Rhamdia sp.
