Hi all,
Can anyone tell me what kind of growth rate I can expect for L001 and a Normal Gibby?
I got my L001 about 3 weeks ago and he was about1.5 inches he is now 3 inches plus. This seems quite quick for a pleco or is it normal? Can I expect a similar size increase for the gibby?

I used to keep L001, they will grow to 10 - 12" in a bit over 1 year. I noticed they have colour variation too, some are more gold than brown.
They love zucchini. In Asia they are bred commercially and can be found in rivers. I have not heard anybody that breed them in aquarium but seems only a matter of time.

i have a l001 and it hasnt grown very much in the last 8 months maybe only 2" am i doing any thing wrong? it is now about 5 "

small tank? bad water parameters? over crowding?
