Spotted Raphael Cat not doing much

Hi all
Got a 2-3 inch Spotted Raphael Cat who doesn't ever want to come out of his hidy-hole. Not even when it's dark.
Does anyone know of a really good food for him that will temp him out? I reckon once I've got him to come out he'll be fine.
Thanks

They are seldom seen moving about the tank even in the dark. Try using a flashlight covered with red cellophane. The spotted raphael is not a fussy eater. All standard aquarium fare is greedily accepted.

i have a spotted raphael the same size as yours and i use shrimp pellets and flake food. i have the spotted raphael in a 220 gallon tank with three large catfish and he is not afraid to feed amongst them even though he is a quarter of their size. brave little fellow.

I have a striped Raphael. I had to check the other day to see if he's still there (and alive !!) as I hadn't seen him for months. Well low and behold, to my great surprise he was still there. Very friendly fellow but ultra super shy.

Do the striped raphaels do better in groups or are they just always shy?
