Based on the elongate pelvic fins, probably a male.

I thought male as did shane.... but he has much more experience than I. If you are having a hard time focusing your camera on the fish/glass, you can sometimes move back abit and turn up the resolution of your camera. Take a wider picture and then crop it down to what you need. This makes it a little easier to focus on the front of the tank sometimes. I also photo shopped you picture a little to make it more obvious.

When he's happy and in the tank current, he wags his tail. He's been ID'd as an L-188. That's the best match to the pics. But, as Shane often points out, Chaestoma identification can be a tricky proposition. Right now, he somehow got a small something behind his eye and I have to figure out what it is. He's mighty uncomfortable. I'm going to try to get a pic and post it later.
