Hello! Everyone
I have a question to ask all of you. I really want to have Both Corydoras and Pleco, Baryancistrus Sp. ( L018 ) " Golden Nugget " in the same tank, but I am not sure that I can put them together or not. If I can put them together, what size of the tank I should have, and the Pleco will not kill my Corydoras, will they? Does everyone have any suggestions about these case? If they can not live together in the same tank, I won't buy Pleco, but I will buy only Corydoras because I prefer Corydoras more than Pleco if I don't have any choice. I prefer Corydoras because they are extremely peaceful catfish that I have never seen in my life, so I love extremely peaceful catfish very much. Please! help me. :? It will be greatly appreciated.

yes, they will get along fine, but bear in mind that the L018 is a large fish. you will need to provide at least a 100 gallon aquarium for the adult fish.

how big is your tank?

We have kept our Baryancistrus Sp. ( L018 ) Gold Nugget for 2 years with cories with no problems at all. :D
The only thing is need to put some food in after dark to make sure he gets enough to eat. We put in cougette daily and vary it with hikari algae wafers and mussels ect.
Racoll is right they do grow to a large size not sure how big they will grow in a tank. Ours is still about 3 - 4 inches after 2 years

Even the smaller of the Gold Nugget (there are three different varieties that are pretty similar, L18, L85 and L177) will grow to reasonable size, about 8" or so full-length. I believe they are relatively slow growing, but should grow to about 6-8" eventually, so will need a decent size tank to live in. At least about 75g, but 100g is probably better.

There is this Catfish of the Month article regarding the, although it's broken at the moment. It's linked to from the L18 Cat-eLog page, and describes the different varieties of gold nuggets.

They shouldn't eat anything that is able to swim away, so cories and other small healthy fish are Ok. If the fish is not capable of escaping, then it was probably close enough to death that it didn't matter if it became gold-nugget dinner...

It will like some prawns/shrimp, mussel or other meaty food, as well as some cucumber, courgette or such.
