No, it's a doradid (I also know what it is, but I want to see if anyone else gets it right).

Looks a lot like a real tiny baby Pseudodoras.

Amblydoras hancockii is the only thing I can think of without cheating and looking in the Cat-eLog.

That was my first thought, too...and then I cheated and looked at the Cat-e-log...and it's likely that I still got it wrong!

Found what I think it is in the Burgess Atlas but not sure if you would consider this cheating so I won't say outright, page 578-second up on the left, page 581-second down on the left, I still peruse this book a lot.

Best guess: some kind of Pseudodoras or Doras spec., juvinile. So I'll go with Pete.

Just like coelacanth, my guess it's a baby Pseudodoras. Or a baby of some similar large doradid.

baby niger.

funny the marbled pattern; looks a bit like a stubeli, but the snouty head and the non-branched whiskers sort of give it away.

I've seen baby Pterodoras (these have a very similar coloration) and they are very different in headshape.....
